Primordial Sound Meditation
Health is the integration of body, mind, and spirit. If you're uncomfortable with the word Spirit, you can substitute it with Awareness, Unified Field, Quantum Reality, Love, God, Nature's Intelligence, Consciousness, Higher Power, or Self, because they all describe different perspectives of the same energy and informational field from which we emanate.
The practice of meditation, particularly meditation that takes our awareness within, is the most efficient and expedient way to develop this integration. This program is for those interested in exploring and gaining a deeper understanding of the practice or those with established practice who want a more contemporary understanding of the underlying theory of meditation.
One thing that is guaranteed from the regular practice of meditation is that you will automatically change to become more creative, intuitive, insightful, loving, and balanced (the key to becoming integrated and healthy.) There is no need for conscious effort. These things will automatically occur when you regularly practice meditation.
Topics include:
Introduction and theory of mantra meditation.
Mantra instruction ritual.
Fine tuning the practice.
Discussion on higher states of consciousness.
Course Application Form
Future programs will deal with advanced meditation techniques which include sutra practice. This is a form of meditation using a mantra to more reliably take the meditator to silence. The word mantra means instrument of the mind. It is composed of a group of sounds that have no specific meaning to the practitioner and by repeating the sounds over and over to oneself there is a tendency for the mind to quiet, thereby achieving various levels of silence. A mantra is a means or vehicle (like a taxicab) by which the mind can quiet itself.
